Casual Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

Here are some of the outfits I put together for a casual Thanksgiving!  For the first look, I paired a black lace shirt from Versona with a white bubble necklace also from Versona.  For look 2, I layered my sweater from Nordstrom BP with my jean shirt from American Eagle.  For my last look, I paired a high low pink shirt with a chunky sweater and a scarf all found at Nordstrom Bp.  In all of my looks I wore jeans to keep it more casual.  If you want to make any of these looks a bit more dressy you can wear heels, but its only optional!

Memories

I totally forgot to post pictures of when I went to visit my best friend and her family!  Here is a couple of photos from our mini photo shoot!  Daisy is modeling a top she got in France that could be easily paired with layers to create a fall look.  She is also wearing comfy leggings and adorable nike shoes!  For hair she is styling a simple top knot and for earrings she is wearing dainty pearls.

5 Fall Favorites

Here is 5 things I cannot live without in the fall!

1.  Army Jackets!  They are perfect for layering and they are also the perfect fall color!

2.  Any sort of large brown purse is defiantly an essential for fall!

3.  Another essential for fall is any scarf!  I personally love ones that look like the one below!

4.  My next fall favorite is headbands and head wraps!  Not only are they cute, but also double as ear muffs to keep you warm!

5.  My last fall favorite is skater skirts!  You can literally make the cutest combinations (like the one below) and if it is too cold you can wear tights underneath!

Fall: Black and White

When it comes to fall I seem to lack color in basically everything.  Lucky for me black and white can give you both a simple yet dark mood to any outfit!  I personally love it and can’t wait to make cute but simple combinations for fall.  As I was scrolling through pictures on Google, I picked out a couple adorable looks to help hopefully inspire you and just maybe make you fall in love with the trend!  !  If you try out any of these looks make sure to send me pictures and maybe you will end up on my blog!

Look 1:  Pop of Color

For all of those just a bit scared of going completely black and white, this look should be perfect for you!

Recreating this look is simple!  First you need a white button down shirt which are super simple to find.  A black blazer is completely optional depending on how hot or cold it is, but it gives a more elegant feel to the entire outfit!  Any normal blue jeans gives the look color but just a little to still stay with the black and white theme.  For accessories, brown riding boots, a blue bubble necklace, bracelets, and a cute bag is perfect!  For any of you wondering, the bag shown in this picture is a Rebecca Minkoff Cross Body Bag!

Falling into Fall

Now that it is turning Fall the fashion is changing.  If you are like me, you still want to wear you summer clothes without freezing.  An easy way to still wear summer shirts in the Fall is to add a jean jacket on top.  The picture below show me wearing one of my summer shirts from Urban Outfitters with my Abercrombie Kids Jean jacket.

Back to School: 3 Easy Hairstyles

For this Back to School post I am going to show you 3 quick hairstyles for school!

The first Hairstyle I found is the famous bun with a twist.  If it isn’t obvious by the image, the first step is to put your hair into a high ponytail.  Next put a large scrunchie/hair tie and wrap that on your hair.  You could also use a hair donut and just leave it in the hair like a hair tie.  Take your hair and wrap it around until it is covering the hair tie. Leave two peices and braid them.  Take the braids and put them around the base. Your done!

The next hairstyle is really cute and also quite easy!  First part your hair far over to one side.  Then begin french braiding.  If you don’t know how to french braid, you basically just braid normally but after each time you grab more hair.  Do this until you reach your ear and tie it with a clear hair ribbon.  Then take a normal hair ribbon and put your hair in a side pony tail!  Then you have a really cute ponytail!

The last hairstyle is probably the easiest one I showed you!  It is a braid too (big shocker) but takes no time at all.  I actually did a tutorial similar to this hairstyle on my Youtube channel, but I will still explain it here too!  First braid both the left and right side of your hair and tie them with clear hair ties.  Next pull the braids back with bobby pins so they cross.  Thats it!!
